Me & the Maldives

All about life in Maldives! And other fun things in my life …

Maldives, the Perfect Holiday Destination!

on November 12, 2015

Maldives is in the tropics, near the equator so we have 2 seasons. Just Southwest monsoon and Northeast monsoon. Southwest monsoon which it is at the moment , is sooo rainy and the sky is cloudy with rough seas. But I’m looking forward to northeast monsoon, which is about to start, ‘cos Northeast monsoon is sunny with generally calm seas making it the perfect weather to come to Maldives for a vacation!

Many people from different countries come to Maldives for their holidays and stay at Guest houses and Resorts. Maafushi Island is a favorite destination for many tourists, for there are many pleasant guesthouses there.

Last year, I went to Maafushi Island ( I live in the capital city )for my holidays and I stayed at Royal Pearl Inn. The place was clean and there were open showers with fantastic rooms, the staff were really friendly and I had a lot of fun. They also had a cable TV and a mini bar fridge which was awesome. They also offer fishing trips ( night fishing too!), visits to sandbank, and visits to picnic island .

If you plan to go to Maafushi Island, Maldives I recommend going to Royal Pearl inn ‘cos that place is top-notch.

  1. That hanging chair looks really cool. I would like to have something like that in my house. I would love to have unusual furniture like that. I saw a swing that opened up into a bed at home depot. I loved that and would get it if I had my own place.
Some day I will have my own house and I will get awesome weird furniture. I love swinging and rocking things.
